Course of Treatment

• There are several options of types of dental implants, which can be placed immediately after the tooth extraction or a lengthier procedure depending on the quality and quantity of bone available
• Consultation and Dental Investigations to ensure suitability for Implants
• Surgical placing of an implant under local anaesthetic
• You can expect a minor degree of discomfort and possibly swelling
• Post-treatment, we provide you with medication for pain relief
• 3 months later, there will be a second minor procedure to place a healing abutment which helps the gum tissue around the implant to heal
• 6-10 weeks later, we will take a scan/impression and construct your crown
